Dr Prabha Atre was born on 13 September 1932, is a front ranking vocalist in the field of Hindustani classical music. She is awarded Padmashree, Padmabhushan and Sangeet Natak Academy etc awards for her remarkable contributions in Hindustani classical music for more than 65 years.
