Abstract

The paper throws light on African poetry and its theme and features. Through the language of international exchange i.e. English the poets convey their grievances and the problems they faced. Their successful integration brings forth worldwide acclaim. Poetry serves it’s purpose of inspiration and insight. They expressed their colonization, future. It made them to reconstruct and reframed their culture.
